Foreign Minister departs to partake in Arab–Islamic Extraordinary Summit

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdulla Khaleel has departed to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to participate in the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit. During his visit, the minister will also attend meetings held on the sidelines of the summit.

In a post shared on social media, Minister Dr. Khaleel stated that he will engage in comprehensive discussions to address the challenges facing the Islamic Ummah, emphasising that the talks pertaining to the situation in Palestine will be prioritised. The minister called on to global collaboration to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinain people and hold Israel accountable for its acts of genocide.

While Minister Dr. Khaleel has departed to Saudi Arabia, the Maldives continues to condemn Israel's actions against the innocent Palestinians in multiple platforms.
