First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has departed on an official visit to Tanzania, to attend the 11th “Merck Foundation Africa Asia Luminary” Annual Conference. The event will host Madam Sajidha Mohamed as one of the Guests of Honour among First Ladies of more than 15 countries.
During the conference, First Lady Sajidha will participate in the High-Level First Ladies Panel and deliver a keynote address. She will additionally speak at the Merck Foundation First Ladies Initiative (MFFLI) Committee Meeting as well.
The 11th Edition of the conference, will take place from October 29-30. It will see the participation of healthcare professionals, policymakers, and academics, to engage in comprehensive discussions pertaining to women empowerment, disease management, and expanding access to quality healthcare across Africa and Asia.
