Housing Development Corporation (HDC) is seeking contractors to develop and run three Upscale Hotels at Urban Isle, situated in the Integrated Tourism Zone of Hulhumale' Phase II. Those interested, can now submit the Expression of Interest (EOI).
HDC stated that the hotels will be equipped with the latest advancements to provide quality services, and will be specialised to accommodate the tourists visiting the Maldives. The corporation stated that contractors will be prioritised based on those who propose to complete the project under the land lease model. However, it noted that proposals with other models will also be accepted.
Additionally, HDC stated that if proposals are submitted by multiple parties, the contractor will be chosen based on the best proposal submitted. The proposal will be evaluated by HDC, focusing on the proposed business model, relevant experience of the contractor.
HDC stated that interested parties can now submit their EOI, giving a deadline of October 29, 1400hrs. The EOI's can be submitted via mail. Additional information on the project will be available from the corporation's website, and queries can also be submitted through mail.
