President stipulates measures to prevent sale of medicines at huge profits

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has stipulated measures to prevent sale of medicine imported and sold in the Maldives with huge profits. The president has instructed all relevant authorities to take necessary measures to prevent such huge profits from being taken in the sale of medicines.

Taking to social media, President Muizzu noted that the prices of medicines in the market are market are currently at a profit of between 200% and 2,000%. Noting that this should be changed, the president stated that a stringent of measures to be taken has been instructed to all relevant authorities.
