Foreign Minister concludes official visit to the UAE

Minister of Foreign Affairs Moosa Zameer has concluded his official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Minister Zameer paid a four-day visit to the UAE.

During his visit, Zameer met with UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss further strengthening of the close, friendly relations between the two countries and cooperation in new areas, the Foreign Ministry said.

Minister Zameer also met with the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) Mohamed Saif Al Suwaidi. He also visited the Maldives Embassy in the UAE and met with the Ambassador and staff.

Minister Zameer conveyed a letter from President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu addressed to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the UAE Foreign Minister.

The Minister was accompanied by Ambassador-at-Large Ahmed Naseer and Secretary, Bilateral, Dr. Hala Hameed and Joint Secretary, Maryam Risha.
