President sends condolences following demise of Zaki

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed his deepest condolences following the demise of the Mohamed Zaki, a prominent figure who served in the education sector for a long period of time. He passed away at the age of 68.

Zaki served in the education sector for a total of 47 years, and was awarded the National Award for Public Service in 2023.

In a post of social media, President Dr. Muizzu conveyed his deepest sympathies, praying to Almighty Allah to bless the soul of Zaki and grant them Jannatul Firdaus. He extended his thoughts and prayers to Zaki's family, expressing profound grief.

Additionally, Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has expressed sorrow and heartfelt condolences following the untimely death of Zaki, underscoring the immeasurable contributions he made for the nation.

Mohamed Zaki actively served the nation since March 3, 1973. He retired on October 28, 2020, at the age of 65, affter serving the Department of Public Examination's senior printing supervisor. Zaki served the longest in printing services and exerted lots of efforts in sending examination papers to the islands and educational centres. He served other sectors in the nations as well, in addition to the education industry.
