Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has called on the public to strengthen the bonds of friendship this Eid al-Adha.
In a social media post, Vice President Latheef extended his warm wishes for a happy Eid al-Adha to all Muslim brothers and sisters in the Maldives. This year, Eid al-Adha falls on June 16, which is 10 Dhul Hijjah 1445 in the Islamic calendar.
The Eid celebrations will take place across the country, and President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has encouraged the public to preserve the customs and traditions of the people during the various games and activities of Eid.
