Minister of Cities, Local Government, and Public Works Adam Shareef Umar has underscored the efforts of the current administration in improving economic conditions and fostering sustainable growth for companies. He delivered these remarks at the ceremony introducing Maldivian's new ATR aircraft at Velana International Airport.
Minister Adam Shareef expressed pride in the addition of the new aircraft to Maldivian's fleet, emphasising its significance for all Maldivians. He further noted the challenging economic conditions faced by companies like Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL) prior to the current tenure, but highlighted the significant improvement in the economic landscape within a few months under the new leadership. He also disclosed that the administration has created new opportunities for entities, contributing to their success.
The Minister asserted that both the Maldivian people and the global community are witnessing tangible improvements in the country's economic situation, attributing these advances to the guidance of wise political leadership.
Expressing optimism for the future, Minister Umar voiced hope for further progress for Maldivian airline in the days ahead.
