Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has begun promoting the Maldives in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM). The ARM fair held in Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is scheduled to take place from May 6 to May 9. A total of 253 representatives of the tourism industry participated in the fair along with MMPRC.
MMPRC affirmed that the activities conducted in the fair will undoubtedly assist to expand the tourism industry of the Maldives across the Middle East region, thereby enhancing the market while attaining a greater popularity. The ATM fair paved the path for the Maldives to showcase the latest items and performances within the tourism sector and bolstering ties with travel experts. Additionally, MMPRC underscored the pivotal role of participating in the event, stating that it was a golden opportunity to promote the Maldives as a prominent tourism destination which ensures the safety and security of the tourists.
This year marks the 29th year the ATM has been held. The ATM fair, being a well-renowned primary platform in the Middle East, serves as a platform in which travel experts can meet and hold discussions, strengthen ties and enhancing business opportunities. The theme of the fair this year is: Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship. The event purports to empower the tourism and commercial industries, promote individual products and generate more revenue while establishing sustainable methods of tourism.
