Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has stated the close relations with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu is based on trust and mutual respect. He made the remarks in an excluisve interview with PSM News, refuting rumors of deteriorating relations between Vice President and the President.
In the interview, Vice President emphasised that President Dr. Muizzu's selection of him as his running mate for the presidential elections was based on 100% trust confided in him.
He further stressed his commitment of sincerity and dedication towards his responsibilities, stating that responding to statements for political gain or personal interest is not necessary.
