Minister confident that Dhivehi Language will be impacted positively

Minister of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage Adam Naseer Ibrahim expressed confidence that positive changes will be seen in the field of Dhivehi Language, within the following five years. The remarks were made by the minister during a ceremony held to commemorate Dhivehi Language Day.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Adam Naseer proclaimed that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu had a special vision to promote Dhivehi Language within his tenure. The minister emphasized the president's vision to promote the Dhivehi Language, revealing that several initiatives would be undertaken to achieve the overarching objectives.

Shedding light on the significance of communicating politely in Dhivehi Language, Minister Adam Naseer stressed the importance of speaking in a manner that it is easy to comprehend. The minister further stated that it is imperative to contemplate and formulate a sentence prior to speaking.

During the ceremony, the Academy of Dhivehi Language launched two guideline books regarding the language. One of the books were officiated by the Minister of Cities, Local Government and Public Works Dr. Adam Shareef Umar. The academy revealed that the books were published by M7 with no charges.
