President pledges to address Magoodhoo's development

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with the members of the Magoodhoo Island Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) to discuss the island's pertinent concerns and development priorities. This meeting was conducted at Magoodhoo Island's Fenaka Office.

During the meeting, Council members expressed significant concern pertaining to the stalled construction of Magoodhoo Airport, emphasising the importance of establishing the school's multipurpose hall and science lab. They further shed light on the upgrades to the football field and as well as the construction of a new office building as crucial initiatives, while requesting the project to be completed expeditiously. They further expressed worries about the current budgetary constraints.

President Muizzu validated the council members that he would address the raised issues and provided updates on the Government's ongoing initiatives aimed at addressing these issues, reaffirming his dedication to addressing the island's needs.
