President affirms to deliver the development that people anticipate

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has reiterated his commitment to meeting the expectations of the people regarding anticipated development, including infrastructure projects, road building, land reclamation, sanitation initiatives, and economic ventures. He made these remarks during an address to the residential community of Isdhoo and Kalaidhoo.

During the meeting, the President emphasised the importance of consulting with the residents of Laamu Atoll before making decisions, particularly regarding the construction of a second airport. He further stated that development projects would prioritize the Isdhoo-Kalaidhoo constituency.

President Muizzu also informed the community about upcoming development projects in the tourism sector, highlighting the positive impacts on job creation and income levels. He encouraged public collaboration with the Government's efforts for community development and pledged to prioritize the realisation of the people's development goals.

Isdhoo and Kalaidhoo mark the second destination of the President's visit to select islands in Laamu Atoll.
