Maldivian residing in Sri Lanka has celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr in a joyous spirit. Several individuals attended the congregational Eid prayer in the field of the Maldives Centre suited in Sri Lanka.
Following the Eid prayer, many Maldivians were present in the breakfast hosted and arranged by the High Commission of the Maldives to Sri Lanka. In addition to the breakfast, various traditional activities specialised for children were held in the Maldives Centre, and were attended by many Maldivian families.
Furthermore, numerous activities were held for the Maldivians living in Sri Lanka during the Holy month of Ramadan. This includes hosting a Quran competition, a madhaha competition and also a futsal competition.
