Gov't efforts will yield visible results within five years: President

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has affirmed that while past administrations have timed development projects to align with presidential elections, his government aims to conclude these projects within five years, prioritising tangible outcomes. He made the remarks while speaking at an event organised by the ruling Progressive Congress Coalition.

Speaking at the event, President Dr. Muizzu stressed the significance of voting for the nation's development, stability, freedom, and security in the upcoming parliamentary election. He appealed for continued support from the public, urging them to extend the same backing they provided during the presidential election.

Additionally, President Dr. Muizzu underscored his commitment to addressing the populace's aspirations promptly, without waiting for the next presidential term. He expressed his determination to ensure the next five years are as productive as previous administrations, emphasising the importance of electing parliamentarians willing to collaborate with the government towards this goal.

Furthermore, President Dr. Muizzu stated that he has discharged his duties faithfully, urging the electorate to choose government candidates in the forthcoming parliamentary election, thereby ensuring the continuity of his administration's agenda.
