President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed will be extending warm greetings with the public on the day of Eid-al-Fitr at the President's official residence, Mulee'aage.
President Dr. Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha will meet with the public from 0930hrs to 1030hrs. The invitation is open to Maldivians of all ages, local companies, and representatives from civil society organisations. President's Office encourages families, children, and youth to exchange Eid-al-Fitr day greetings. The attendees are also directed to use Shaheedh Abdulla Zuhair Magu, which leads to the main gate located on Medhuziyaaraiy Magu.
Additionally, President Dr. Muizzu has announced plans to decorate various parts of the country with festive lights to mark the special occasion. The initiative will commence with a ceremonial launch by the President on March 8. The entire country, including Male' City, Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, Thinadhoo City, Kulhudhuffushi City, and the islands in each atoll, will be decorated with Eid lights.
