The Housing Committee, established to address issues related to the Binveriyaa and Gedhoruveriyaa housing schemes, has undergone changes with the appointment of new members. Initially chaired by Order of the Distinguished Rule of Izzudin Aneesa Ahmed, her resignation due to health reasons prompted the appointment of three additional members.
The newly appointed members of the Housing Committee are Ahmed Ali Manik, Abdul Azeez Yusuf, Mohamed Mauroof Jameel, Fathimath Saeed, Aminath Shaeera, and Mariyam Fizana Rasheedh. Aminath Eenaas has been designated as the new Chair of the committee.
The Ministry of Housing, Land, and Urban Development has disclosed that the committee held its seventh meeting, emphasizing that its ongoing efforts and decisions will be transparently communicated to the public.
