Two private parties have been commissioned to expand and enhance the facilities of two schools located in the atolls.
In two separate ceremonies, The Ministry of Education formally delegated the task of expanding Olhuvelifushi School in Faafu Atoll and the Gnaviyani Atoll Education Centre to two private entities.
Weaver Investment Private Limited has been handed over the responsibility to build a two-story building with 10 classrooms at Olhuvelifushi School within a year. The education ministry confirmed that the project's cost is estimated at USD 627,000.
Additionally, Tic Tac Investment will undertake the construction of a five-story education center in Gnaviyani Atoll, with the project expected to be completed within 420 days. Currently, the project is estimated to cost more than USD 2.32 million.
Furthermore, the agreements were officially signed by State Minister at the Ministry of Education Dr. Ahmed Mohamed and Chief Financial Officer at Tic Tac Investment Ismail Zahuran Zubair.
