The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has reported the arrest of two foreign individuals for distributing anti-religious materials in the mailboxes of Hiyaa flats in Hulhumale'.
According to MPS, the arrested individuals are two women from Germany. They were apprehended in relation to the incident after entering the Maldives on tourist visas. Investigations into the matter are currently ongoing.
The distribution of anti-religious materials is a serious offense in the Maldives and such actions are not tolerated.
