Gov't to open two mosques in Fuvahmulah in March

Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Shaheem Ali Saeed has announced plans to inaugurate two mosques in Fuvahmulah City in March. He made the announcement while speaking at a meeting with the residential community of Fuvahmulah.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Shaeem emphasised the Islamic ministry's ongoing efforts in Fuvahmulah. He disclosed that the inauguration of two mosques is slated for March 7 in Fuvahmulah. He also revealed plans for the establishment of a National Centre for the Holy Quran on the island by June.

Additionally, Minister Shaheem underscored President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's commitment to fostering Islamic solidarity, citing the initiation of all projects outlined in the government's Week 14 Roadmap. He assured that all requests put forth by the Fuvahmulah City Council have been addressed.

Furthermore, Minister Shaheem urged cooperation with President Dr. Muizzu's endeavors aimed at enhancing the welfare of the residents. He also urged citizens to persevere in the path of development despite efforts to sow division.
