President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Fathimath Inaya as the Foreign Secretary of Maldives, marking a historic milestone as the first woman to assume this role in the country. In a ceremony held at the President's Office, she was formally presented with her letter of appointment.
Fathimath Inaya formerly worked as a deputy minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She was appointed foreign secretary at the position of Minister of State.
