President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Ahmed Naseer and Ahmed Munawwar as advisors to the Minister of Finance. The ceremony, during which the letters of appointment were presented, took place at the President's Office.
Both Advisors were appointed at the ministerial rank and entrusted with the responsibility of delivering financial counsel to ministers.
Ahmed Naseer, with a distinguished background, formerly served as the Governor of the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA). Meanwhile, Ahmed Munawwar has previously held the position of Minister of Finance in the former government of the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM).
