CSC digitalizes all services with E-Recruitment Module

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has digitalized all services with the introduction of the E-Recruitment Module. The online portal was inaugurated by Minister of Health Dr. Abdulla Khaleel.

The E-Recruitment Module is designed to manage the job information of civil servants and to implement the recruitment process online.

At the inauguration ceremony, President of the CSC Mohamed Nasih said that the commission has faced many challenges in its 15 years. However, he said that the commission is always working to develop and expand its capacity with the limited available resources.

Additionally, Nasih said the E-Recruitment Module will resolve much of the challenges by facilitating an easier method to apply for positions at the CSC. He highlighted the importance of recruiting the employees needed to efficiently provide public services required by the government. He said that the recruitment and appointment of the most qualified applicants to civil service jobs have been done manually using hard copy documents up to this point. He noted that this process leads to halts or cancellations of recruitment or appointments due to errors in the documents, resulting in more time spent on the task.

Furthermore, Nasih said that the new module will reduce common mistakes and errors committed by the agencies in the recruitment and appointment process. He also said it will reduce the possibility of mistakes made by the agencies in the manual preparation of the job announcement and the calculation of the A2 sheet which is prepared to identify the most qualified candidate for the job.

Also at the ceremony, Minister Khaleel said the E-Recruitment Module will bring significant improvements to the CSC and the entire country with the introduction of faster services at lower costs. As such, he said that faster services will lead to more productivity and faster national development.
