Maldivian President and Indian Prime Minister forge closer ties

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has held a productive meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Dubai on the sidelines of the Twenty-Eighth Session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).

Prime Minister Modi took the opportunity to extend his warm congratulations to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu on assuming office just two weeks ago, reinforcing the goodwill between the two nations.
