Seychelles has stated that the new government of the Maldives has a prosperous future. The remark was made by Vice President of Seychelles Ahmed Afif while paying a courtesy call on President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
During the meeting , Vice President Afif congratulated President Muizzu on his assumption of office, extending greetings and best wishes. He characterised President Muizzu's inaugural address as strong and motivating, adding that he believed this government has a prosperous future.
During the meeting, they highlighted similarities between the two nations and discussed ways to collaborate and address the mutual challenges both countries confront. They concluded the call with good wishes and committed to strengthening the bilateral ties between the nations.
