The Maldives Police Service (MPS) and Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) have conducted a raid operation on the office building of the Road Development Corporation Limited (RDC).
The operation was conducted by a team of officials from MPS and ACC under a court order. MPS has not specific details regarding the raid.
Meanwhile, RDC said that MPS, backed by a court order, entered its premises at 1100hrs on November 14. RDC clarified that the raid was part of an ongoing investigation, adding that the precise nature of the case was so far not clear. RDC also expressed a commitment to providing full cooperation to MPS in the investigation.
