President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have vacated Mulee’aage, the official presidential residence.
They moved into Mulee’aage on November 30, 2018, following President Solih's inauguration on November 17. It has been revealed that they have now relocated to a family home of First Lady Fazna.
Former President Mohamed Nasheed resided in Mulee’aage from 2008 until his resignation in 2012. Former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayyom had only used Mulee’aage solely for official purposes and resided at his private residence throughout his term from 2013-2018.
