IASL celebrates inaugural flight to Bangalore

Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL), which operates the national flag carrier Maldivian, has celebrated its first flight to Bangalore, India, marking a significant achievement in its operational history. IASL said it anticipates and hopes for many more pleasant and successful journeys along the new route via Maldivian.

IASL said it will be operating flights to Bangalore twice a week with departures scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays. The schedule provides options for mid-week and weekend trips to accommodate vacationers and business travellers. IASL also noted that Bangalore is a popular destination for Maldivians to travel for medical services and higher studies.

IASL currently operates international flights to Thiruvananthapuram and Cochin in India and Dhaka in Bangladesh.
