The Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations has begun reviewing the appointment of the Presidential nominations for the ambassador to Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has nominated Maryam Midhfa Naeem for the position of a
Ambassador to the UAE, and Shiuneen Rasheed for High Commissioner to Bangladesh.
Currently, Shiruzimath Sameer is the High Commissioner to Bangladesh and Aminath Shabeena is the Ambassador to the UAE.
