The government of Sri Lanka has affirmed its unwavering support for the new administration. The remark was made by the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Maldives Adam Maznavee Jaufer Sadiq during a meeting with President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. The meeting was also attended by the Vice-President-elect Hussain Mohamed Latheef.
During the meeting, Dr. Muizzu expressed optimism about the prospect of enhancing and elevating the bilateral relationship with Sri Lanka during his term. He conveyed his desire for the relationship to grow and strengthen in the coming years.
In his remarks, the ambassador reassured both parties of Sri Lanka's complete support and collaboration across various sectors for the development of the Maldives.
