The Elections Commission of the Maldives (ECM) has announced the recruitment of employees for the 2024 parliamentary elections.
ECM stated it is seeking the recruitment of over 300 employees, including 218 officers, 40 assistant officers, and six security officers. In addition, various positions are available for application, and further details of the announcement are accessible through the Government Gazette. The application period will be open until December 31. However, a specific date for the parliamentary elections is yet to be determined.
The upcoming parliamentary elections will witness the election of members from 93 constituencies, which is an increase of six members from the current 87 members. Some adjustments have also been made to the names of certain constituencies for the elections.
