President reassures he has never misappropriated state funds

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has reassured he has never misappropriated state funds for personal gain.

Addressing a campaign event held in Male' City, President Solih affirmed his willingness to subject his financial transactions, both during his time in office and after his presidency, to thorough scrutiny. He asserted that he has not been involved in any activities that could be deemed corrupt and urged anyone with concerns to present their allegations to the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) for an investigation. He further underlined that his sole and unwavering goal has always been to serve the people, assuring that no allegations of impropriety hold any merit.

Additionally, the government maintains a steadfast commitment to a zero-tolerance stance on corruption. It has reaffirmed its dedication to investigating and taking appropriate measures against any instances of corruption that may arise.
