Muizzu pledges to cover cost of moving into Hiya flats

Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, the presidential candidate of the People's National Congress (PNC), has pledged to cover the cost incurred by residents who moved into the Hiya flats.

At a campaign event in Hulhumale' Phase II, Dr. Muizzu criticised the administration for handing over the Hiya flats without completing construction. He said that he would alleviate the financial challenges faced by tenants in paying rent by forgiving fines and paying an average price based on the cost incurred by tenants in completing construction of the flats.

Additionally, Dr. Muizzu said that housing is one of his most important prioritises. He pledged to build specialised apartment buildings designed for easy accessibility for people with disabilities.
