JP commits to well-being of Maldives

Jumhooree Party (JP) has stated it is committed to advancing the well-being of Maldivian citizens.

In a press release, JP congratulated the candidates who progressed to the second round of the presidential election. The party affirmed its dedication to the country's reform and the prosperity of Maldivian citizens, regardless of the outcome of the first-round. JP will soon announce its decision regarding the second round following discussions.

Additionally, JP expressed gratitude to all who supported the party's presidential candidate Qasim Ibrahim and his running mate Dr. Ameen Ibrahim, in the initial election round. The party also extended thanks to individuals that contributed in various ways during the campaign.

Qasim secured the fifth position among the eight candidates who participated in the presidential election, receiving 5,460 votes.
