Ministry of Education officially has inaugurated the newly constructed facility at Mohamed Jamaluddin School in Fuvahmulah City. The new building was inaugurated by Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Ali.
The three-story building encompasses 16 classrooms and a state-of-the-art computer laboratory. The construction of the building serves to alleviate the space constraints previously experienced by the school. The new building will assist in the efforts to transform the school into a single-session.
The construction of the classrooms started in August 2021 by Inoca Private Limited. The project was awarded to the company at a total cost of USD 774,000 under the Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP).
