CEO of MPL, Shahid Ali, has expressed that new vehicles will streamline the process of goods clearance.
Kelma, renowned for its production of port terminal handling equipment, contributed to the event by donating three terminal trucks and two barge handlers.
Addressing the ceremony, Shahid Ali underscored the significance of these additions to MPL's fleet. He noted these vehicles would significantly expedite the pace of goods clearance facilitated by MPL. He also reiterated the potential of these vehicles to accelerate the movement of goods, particularly during periods of peak demand. Furthermore, he highlighted their pivotal role in ensuring efficient goods clearance and providing prompt services to the public.
Shahid Ali also noted the longstanding collaboration between MPL and Kelma, spanning an impressive 16 years. The partnership commenced in 2007 with the mutual goal of introducing vehicles capable of transporting MPL containers.
