Qasim says Villa is a national service to maintain prices

Qasim Ibrahim, the presidential candidate representing the Jumhooree Party (JP), has emphasised his efforts in delivering vital services to the public and ensuring affordable prices.

Addressing the residents of Feydhoo, Shaviyani Atoll, Qasim revealed that his aspiration was never centred on becoming the president. He revealed that he had anticipated a peaceful transition following 2018, which would have allowed him to step back from the reform process. Regrettably, he acknowledged that his anticipation was misplaced. He said it was why he needed to work in the reform process. He underlined that his motivation is solely to save the country from its current situation, without any personal motives.

Furthermore, Qasim underscored the societal value of his business ventures. He asserted that his engagement in sectors such as aviation and gas serves a national purpose, primarily aimed at upholding reasonable prices for services accessible to the public.

The JP presidential campaign is actively conducting visits to different islands as part of its ongoing campaign efforts.
