Ilyas pledges to expand higher education in Kulhudhuffushi

Ilyas Labeeb, the presidential candidate of The Democrats, has pledged to expand higher education in Kulhudhuffushi City.

Speaking at a campaign event, Ilyas highlighted the challenges faced by higher education students in Kulhudhuffushi. As such, he said he will further develop the Maldives National University (MNU) campus in Kulhudhuffushi and establish accommodation spaces and additional facilities in the city.

Additionally, Ilyas said that his administration would develop the harbour and a tertiary hospital on the island. He also pledged to expand the services of specialty doctors and facilitate treatment for children with disabilities.
