Qasim pledges to focus on youth and sports

Qasim Ibrahim, the presidential candidate of the Jumhooree Party (JP), has pledged to focus on the development of youth and sports under his administration.

Qasim and his running mate, Dr. Ameen Ibrahim, held a meeting with volunteers, clubs, and associations. The meeting was attended by associations representing people with disabilities, sports associations, and other public associations.

Speaking at the meeting, Qasim pledged to further develop all sports played at the national level. As such, he said his administration will focus on sports, as it is linked to the health and happiness of the people, especially the youth. He highlighted the importance of including policies on developing sports as it promotes health and friendship, which are important for national development.

Additionally, Qasim said that he would establish a system to monitor and provide assistance to associations providing useful services to the community. He added that a system would also be in place to identify associations formed to achieve financial gain.
