ACC urges to use state resources in campaign within legal framework

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has urged to refrain from utilising state resources during the campaign activities leading up to the upcoming presidential election.

In an official statement, ACC reiterated that the utilisation of state resources for campaign activities is strictly prohibited in accordance with the laws and regulations. However, ACC stated that there are specific circumstances under which the use of state resources in campaigning might be permissible. The commission further implored all parties involved to adhere to the stipulated laws and regulations when considering the utilisation of state resources for campaign purposes.

ACC stated that it is actively monitoring public complaints related to the utilisation of state resources during the presidential election campaign. The commission has reasserted its dedication to taking suitable actions within the framework of the laws and regulations. Therefore, the commission urged to avoid using state resources unless in complete alignment with the specified laws and regulations.
