Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL) has announced that the national airline, Maldivian, will be increasing the number of flights to Madivaru, Lhaviyani Atoll, and Maafaru, Noonu Atoll.
IASL stated that Maldivian will operate an additional daily flight to both destinations from July 20, aiming to enhance connectivity and cater to the rising passenger requirements. The airline currently operates a single daily flight to both destinations and the decision to add another flight is a strategic move to better accommodate travelers and improve accessibility to these locations.
Maldivian operates additional flights to destinations based on demand due to the increasing number of passengers. The national airline had operated additional flights to domestic and international destinations during the holidays.
