eFaas registration required before final recipients list release

Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology has requested individuals to register with the eFaas mobile application along with the national digital identification (ID) card before the final list of recipients of the flats and land plots in the Greater Male’ Region is published. The ministry made the request following the inclusion of the national digital identification ID card in the Gedhoruverin Portal.

The digital ID card is being introduced through the newly launched eFaas application which is designed to make all cards issued by government agencies digitally accessible to the individual's personal information. As such, the ministry is requesting individuals that have received flats and land plots in the Greater Male’ Region to be announced in June to use the eFaas application to access the portal.

Speaking to PSM News, Minister of state at the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology Mohamed Shareef said that a large number of individuals will log in to the Gedhoruverin portal at the same time during the announcement of the final list of recipients. Therefore, he urged the public to use eFaas to access their flat and land details through a convenient system while ensuring the security of information. In addition, he urged recipients to get the application immediately.

With the new features of eFaas, the public will be able to access the portal without entering the One-Time Password (OTP) and password for the user's login every time. The application can also be accessed through a computer system or mobile phone.

According to National Centre for Information Technology (NCIT), a total of 137,000 individuals are registered for eFaas, which currently provides over 440 services.
