The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has stated that it has not held any discussions with any country to conduct psychological profiles for military officers.
In a statement, MNDF stated that some news agencies from India have stated that psychological profiles for its officers are being conducted through the National Forensic University in Gujarat. The new agencies stated that the Maldives had requested the university to conduct psychological profiles using a polygraph machines and other devices.
However, MNDF said it had not held any such discussions with any agency or university in any country. MNDF stated further information will be shared if psychological profiles are conducted for its officers.
