President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih of the Maldives has embarked on an unofficial visit to Singapore.
The President's Office spokesperson, Miuvaan Mohamed, confirmed the visit and stated that President Solih is expected to return to the Maldives over the weekend.
While no specific details about the purpose of the visit were disclosed by the President's Office, this marks President Solih's second visit to Singapore this year. He previously visited Singapore on an unofficial visit in October of the previous year.
