Gov’t reaffirms commitment to promoting religious awareness

Vice President Faisal Naseem has reaffirmed the administration's commitment to promoting religious awareness and social cohesion. He made the remarks during a meeting with religious scholars who participated in religious awareness initiatives held by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs during the holy month of Ramadan.

At the meeting, Vice President Naseem expressed gratitude to the scholars and individuals who organised and facilitated the religious programmes during Ramadan. He thanked them for their efforts in promoting Islamic values and educating the community about Islam.

Additionally, Vice President Naseem said the administration recognises the importance of fostering societal harmony and developing human resources. He also said that the administration plans to increase its efforts to promote religious awareness and foster religious compassion among students and civil communities in the upcoming academic year.

Furthermore, Vice President Naseem said that the administration is committed to organising Quran recitation competitions and other initiatives that promote religious values. He also emphasised the importance of working together to create a community that prioritises education and the advancement of society.

In contrast to previous years, many religious events were held during the last Ramadan. The events included forums designed for school students and the general public.
