President offers condolences over India train crash

In a tweet, President Solih conveyed his deep sadness upon learning about the high death toll and extended his sympathies to the families of the victims. The president expressed that the Maldives stands in solidarity with the government and people of India during this difficult time.

The train collisions resulted in a significant loss of life, with over 850 people reported injured. Rescue operations are underway to locate and assist those who may still be trapped in the wreckage.
