MMPRC reveals speakers for Visit Maldives Storytellers' Conference

The Visit Maldives Storytellers' Conference 2023, organised by the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), has announced its lineup of international speakers and the exciting sideline regions that will be featured.

The conference aims to bring together more than 70 influential individuals from the travel industry, including travel writers, journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media experts, to showcase the beauty and hospitality of the Maldives. The event will offer unique sideline experiences in eight different regions of the Maldives, each with its own distinct features and activities.

The conference boasts an impressive roster of speakers who will captivate the audience with their experiences and thought-provoking ideas. Notable speakers include renowned travel writer Doug Lansky, who will deliver a speech and contribute to the Sustainability Talks. Lansky will also act as the conference moderator. Additionally, writer Jessica Nabongo will share her travel experiences and stories while participating in the Sustainability Talks. Distinguished novelist Vikas Swarup will speak based on his novel Q and A, and versatile CNN correspondent Eleni Giokos will share her inspiring travel stories and moderate the Sustainability Talks panel.

The sideline regions will offer participants the opportunity to explore remarkable destinations in the Maldives for three days and two nights. The regions include Raa Atoll, Laamu Atoll, Ari Atoll, Vaavu Atoll, Haa Alifu Atoll and Haa Dhaalu Atoll, Kaafu Atoll, Addu City, and Fuvahmulah City. These exclusive trips will allow participants to discover the natural wonders of the Maldives, engage in exciting activities, and create unforgettable stories to share with the world.

The Visit Maldives Storytellers' Conference is the largest and most ambitious event organised by MMPRC to date. The conference, along with the captivating sideline experiences, has been carefully curated to provide storytellers with a comprehensive understanding and view of the Maldives.
