First Youth Leaders Network Forum of 2023 held in Kolhufushi

Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla has inaugurated the first Youth Leaders Network Forum of 2023 in Kolhufushi, Meemu Atoll. The forum brought together 80 young participants who engaged in nine sessions covering various topics such as team building, life skills, local culture, the role of youth, and the importance of participation in building a safe and sustainable society.

During the forum, Minister Imran stressed the significance of the event for Kolhufushi and Meemu Atoll. He highlighted the importance of educating youth on the principles of nationalism, rooted in religious values, as a crucial factor in the country's development. He also acknowledged the role of university students in facilitating the growth of young leaders.

Meanwhile, Ali Zaki, a Member of the Youth Leaders Network Advisory Board, emphasised that the progress of the country depends on the active participation of responsible young individuals. The slogan for the forum underscores the importance of empowering and engaging youth in leadership roles.
