Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has concluded his official visit to Tokyo, Japan.
During his visit, Minister Shahid participated in the Munich Leaders Meeting and in a roundtable on international and regional peace and security. He also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Hayashi Yoshimasa and Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines Enrique Manalo and engaged with other senior officials and security practitioners attending the Munich Leaders Meeting.
During the conference, Minister Shahid delivered remarks and contributed to discussions on various topics, including the Indo-Pacific security architecture, non-traditional security threats, multilateralism and partnerships, and security in the digital age. He also met and engaged with ministers, chief executive officers (CEOs), journalists, and security practitioners on a wide range of issues.
