Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has concluded his official visit to Budapest, Hungary.
During the two-day visit, Minister Shahid met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó, and held extensive discussions to further strengthen the already robust relations between the two nations. He also had meetings with the Vice President of the National Assembly of Hungary Csaba Hende, the Deputy Foreign Minister Levente Magyar, an Executive/Board Member of the Hungarian Tourist Agency László Könnyid, and several other senior government officials.
Additionally, Minister Shahid met with Maldivian students pursuing higher education in Hungary under the Hungarian government's Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme.
Previously, Minister Shahid made an official visit to Belgrade, Serbia.
